Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."  + PASSION of OUR LORD This chaplet with a total of 25 beads in 5 sets of 5 honor the 5 wounds of Christ devotion.  Chaplet of the Five Wounds It was first written information about the Chaplet of the 5 Wounds was in 1822 in a document quoting The Most Reverend Father General, 'acting in accordance with our spirit to promote devotion to the Passion of Our Lord, obtained permission to bless the Chaplet of the Five Wounds, at the same time enriching it with indulgences.'It was approved by Pius VII and signed on Jan 22nd 1822. PRESSED CZECH GLASS, CRYSTAL BICONES with deep red inclusions  (click icons for larger image)  + AVE BEADS: 8 x 10 faceted bicones - an amazing bead in crystal with red inclusions reminds us of the blood and water from his side. Small slashes on either side set this bead to be the perfect choice.  PATER  BEADS: Fine wood for the cross and carpenter, capped on each end with antiqued filigrees.
