St Michael of Saints was a Discalced Trinitarian. He was born Michael Argemir in Spain on September 29, 1591 and became a Trinitarian friar in 1607 and took the name Michael of the Saints. He was a Mystic. His brief life of thirty-three years was one of great love for our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. His generous service to the poor, the unfortunate and the sick made him a compassionate priest and a faithful friend. His ministry didn't end with his death. (1624)
HEALING THROUGH HIS INTERCESSION After eleven days of prayer, Frances Sanz was cured of cancer through his intercession. The cancerous tumors on her lips and tongue disappeared. No scars were left. Hers was one of many such cures and was presented as one of many miracles when Pius IX canonized Michael on June 8th 1862. + We hope you will join in the prayers of the Trinitarians along with our prayers to God to find a cure for cancer through the intercession of Saint Michael of the Saints. We all know someone who has died from cancer, or has cancer now. We may be suffering from cancer ourselves. Everyone is a victim of this terrible disease. Remember "Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. (Philippians 4:5) + SYMBOLISM OF THE CROSS The Trinitarians receive their name from the Most Holy Trinity. The scapular garment is white (Our Father) and the vertical line of the cross is red (Holy Spirit) descending from heaven. The horizontal line is blue (Son of the Living God, Jesus) who lived on earth. We have focused in on the cross in these two rosaries. The black Ave beads symbolize the cape of the Trinitarians that St Michael of the Saints wore. FROM THE TREASURY of YOUR GRACES

The red vertical line of the Trinitarian Cross honors the Holy Spirit and is represented here by the flat, red Pater bead shown above. The vertical line of the cross represents the action between heaven and earth. The beads used here are trnslucent and called 'table cuts' because of the way they are polished after casting.

~ ROSARY of the SON of GOD IV ~ |

The blue horizontal line of the Trinitarian cross represents the Son of God, Jesus. The vertical line of a cross reminds us of Christ's walk on earth. The blue Pater stones are a clear blue and all the same shade. (Difference comes from the way the scanner light hit the surface of the bead.)
The rosary center is of the Holy Eucharist as he loved the Living Lord in the Eucharist. Mary is often given to the symbolism of blue. St Michael of the Saints had a very special love for Mary who so often came to earth standing on a cloud! |
