VINTAGE 'CHEVRON BEADS'
This rare and beautiful chaplet is made of flat beads sliced from vintage glass cane or rods originally made for a longer chevron trade bead. It is dedicated to give honor and glory to the Lord! The terracotta/red bead is hand made 'lampwork' over a foil center which gives a special light deep from within to its surface.

EUCHARISTIC SYMBOLISM
The Ave bead tells us a story in symbol form. WHITE CENTER: the Eucharistic body of Christ surrounded by RED: a flash of his Precious and living Blood. BLUE: represents Mary. She envelops him, he shines forth - flesh of her flesh - blood of her blood - in the Davidic line as scripture tells us. Like a prophetic sign, he lives under her heart waiting to be born in each of us. These Vintage / Antique beads are called 'Chevron Beads' and are rarely sliced in this way.

CRUCIFIX
The bronze (only) crucifix is by Egino Weinert (Germany). Medalist Egino Weinert, whose work is well known, is a favorite of the Vantican. See Adam and Eve (lower right) and the Precious Blood pouring out of the side of Christ (lower left). the sun and moon (above), symbolizing the passing of time and that Christ is the King 24 hours a day.
