This rare cut is called a' gemcut' (also referred to as a 'rondelle'. We chose this faceted Czech crystal with red inclusions to symbolize the blood and water pouring from the side of Christ, the font of life. It is dedicated to give honor and glory to the Lord! We chose the Pater bead in hand carved wood to remind us of the Crucifixion cross. The granite ends give us sense of time. +

EUCHARISTIC SYMBOLISM
The Ave bead tells us a story in symbol form.
WHITE CENTER: the Eucharistic body of Christ surrounded by RED: a
flash of his Precious and living Blood. BLUE: represents Mary. She envelops
him, he shines forth - flesh of her flesh - blood of her blood - in the
Davidic line as scripture tells us. Like a prophetic sign, he lives under
her heart waiting to be born in each of us. These Vintage / Antique beads
are called 'Chevron Beads' and are rarely sliced in this way.
