But these magnificent medals are worthy of the long search! + FOR HOLY SPIRIT PEOPLE Originally this series was called COT nanmed for the beads we used which looked like ocean tumbled pebbles. Tthey are now sold out. When we found these new beads it was obvious to us that they would be the perfect replacement for these rare and beautiful medals. We also discovered several of these new chaplets were less expensive than the first ones. And that is good! + THE MEDALS These wonderful bronze Holy Spirit medals speak to the heart of the Renewal in the Church. Since we could not decide which one to use, we used all 3 and let you choose. We became more aware of his work while visiting the Abbey of Maria Laach (Germany). ~ 9 and 10 BEAD PRAYERS' ~ |

'Tenner' Chaplets have a long history dating before the 15 century. Favored by men as easier to carry. Considered to be one decade of the standard rosary. Early 'tenners' were often open ended with a ring at one end for passing from finger to finger to complete the rosary. + PRAYER FOR 10 BEAD CHAPLET On the medal pray the Pater Noster (Our Father) followed by 10 Ave Marias (Hail Marys). On completion repeat 4 more times to complete the rosary + + + + + + + WHAT'S A 'NINER'? 'Niners' are usually considered a 'novena' chaplet, with St Jude probabpy the most universal. Each dedicated to a specific saint whose medal is included. Prayers go to the saint for intercession. Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be are prayed three times for 9 consegutive days to complete the intercession. World renowned German artist, Egino Weinert, a master in the field of sacred gold smithery, as well as a painter and sculptor. He has consigned pieces of art for Cathedrals and Churches throughout the world and a favorite of John Paul II. Several of Mr. Weinert’s original enamel works may be seen in the Galleria Moderna of the Vatican Museum. + EGINO GUNTER WEINERT
+ Born on March 3rd, 1920 in Berlin-Sch?neberg - 1934 Entry to the monastery of the Benedictine Missionaries as a monastic pupil. - 1941 Gold and silversmith examination passed with merits of distinction. - 1941 Prison for refusal of the Hitler salutation in W?rzburg, Ottostra?e. - 1944 Receipt of diploma. - 1945 Loss of my right hand by an explosive projectile masked as an electrical fuse. - 1946 First work with one hand at the gold smithery “eine Paxtafel.” (Peace Plaque) - 1947 The painter Ewal Jorzig, D?sseldorf, visits the monastery and urges the abbot Burkhard Urz to send me to the Art School of Cologne. - 1949 Attendance to the School of Art. - 1951 Founded own studio for gold smithery, painting, and sculpture. - 1963 Founded second studio in Spain. - 1994 For the last 50 years I have been active as a master of sacred gold smithery, as well as, a painter and sculptor, making pieces I can manage with one hand. - 1999 Reaching my 80th year. |

I just wanted to let you know that I just received the beautiful Holy Spirit Chaplet with the Spirit of God Medal. This is truly the most beautiful chaplet I've ever owned! Although I purchased the Irish Penal and the Seeds of Assisi chaplets from you in the past, being a Holy Spirit person, this is my favorite. Thank you for creating such a wonderful gift!
