Two very beautiful and precious chaplets of Coral and Turquoise slabs in their natural shapes. A very popular combination enjoyed by many cultures over the centuries. Here we have used 2 crosses imaging Our Lady of Perpetual Help. LEFT: REVERSE (1.75 in) - tools of crucifixion. RIGHT: REVERSE (2 in.) - St Girard (patron of mothers) + HER PONDERING HEART Here, in this deeply popular icon of Mary and Child Jesus, surrounded by angels, the child Jesus runs to his mother's arms for protection. We are all called to ask her to do the same, interceeding to the Father for our protection. Mary must have wondered so when they found Jesus in the temple. She questioned him yet when he answered her, she was taken with his words. Did she know? ... and his mother kept (pondered) all these things in her heart. |

Each turquoise slab carries its natural shape, making no two alike (see image). The coral is rough, tough and magnificent! No two alike, each carrying its own sign of growth. The Turquoise blue reminds us of the garment of Mary and the Coral symbolizes the most Precious Blood of Christ, shed for us. A very limited series available in sterling or solid bronze. Cross shows image of the famous icon 'Our Lady of Perpetual Help'. Reverse shows the symbols of the crucifixion. |
