Margot has worked in the field of liturgical art most of her life. She designed religious cards for over ten years for Barton Cotton. She has conducted workshops on the College level throughout the US in textiles, beading and banner making and co-authored a book, ‘Banners and Flags', which was published by Harcourt Brace. She has also illustrated 4 books, three of which are children's books on God and his wonders. Her vestments, banners and altar frontals are well known. + Beadwork has been one of her pastimes for years, creating wearable art in jewelry. In 199Recently her interest in beading turned to making rosaries which has captured her. She believes all art should reflect the glory of God and along with designing rosaries using antique beads and metals, has turned her efforts to designing icon crosses and wall pieces which reflect His living Word. |
