And customers too, who have requested certain combinations that we thought worked very well. and they were inspired by the sound of music! + Wearing sacramentals brings glory to the Lord. In turn we are blessed. These are the signs of our birth - not a token of 'good luck'. A priestly blessing gives back to the Lord what is his, opening the door for him to work. Think of water, blessed it becomes - Holy Water. Think of when babies are baptized - they are given back to the Lord. Why call these chaplet bracelets songs? I was talking to Kristen, my granddaughter about how sound and color were the same thing and that the only difference was that we pick them up with different sensors. (Eyes, ears, etc.) She agreed, she understood totally. She is a very gifted singer and an artist. she understood that light was the source of both. It is called Synesthesia. + So we decided that we would all sing a new song in color. and these are the results of our new gift. The designs above come from guild and family members and customers. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did making them for you! + Kristen decided to sing her song in pearls and chunks of turquoise with bits of pyrite. LEFT: Guild member Jeannie has used a beautiful mix of leaves for her 10 bead chaplet bracelet - each one a bit different, each a work of art. Pater bead is hand carved leaf design in wood, capped in antiqued filigree. RIGHT: A rare glass bead we rarely see. Clear glass with a center ring of gold. Faceted Pater is capped with antiqued filigree. Small, faceted rondelle spacers are a soft green lustre. |

We believe the RosaryWorkshop.com is being directed to make our rosaries a more visual and symbolic journey of the dedication than it has in the past. You will not only see more of this direction used through color choices but in texture. When you see them, we hope you will be more visually in touch with the story. And when you pray them we hope 2000 years of history will melt. Not only with Our Lady as she tells the story of her beloved son, but with the one to whom the rosary is dedicated or the scripture passage that inspired it.
