The Rosary Workshop is very excited about our new cross and crucifix jewelry and we hope you are too. Jewelry is such a powerful tool of evangelization and all of us who truly believe that the Lord, Jesus died for our sins for the salvation of each of us, should respond by wearing a sign of our faith. Had you ever thought that when you wear a cross, it always goes before you? This sacramental, the crucifx or cross, when blessed, will clear a path before you of grace and protection.

NEED TO CHANGE THE LENGHT?
Your vote tells us your favorite lenght is 20 in.  If you prefer another length (18in etc) we will do a special order for you by phone.  Pricing now remains the same regardless of length. Metals are priced by gram weight which will also help you to determine overall size. Just let us know by phone or email (see below).

THE CROSS OF THE APOSTOLATE
 the symbol of the Spirituality of the Cross.
It is a Glorious Cross. A Paschal Cross - Expresses the victory of love upon suffering and sin.  Floats on air inviting us to carry it with generous love.  The Cross of the Apostolate was part of a vision (end of January, 1894) of Mexican mystic, Senora Concepcion Cabrera De Armida, popularly known as 'Conchita'  (1862-1937). OLD CELTIC RING NECKLACE - JNC.2430
 The origin of this powerful crucifix is unknown.  Although believed to be found in Ethiopia we dedicate it to the work of St Patrick,whose brother priests traveled as missionaries to Europe and Northern Africa in the early centuries of our church.  The circular design suggests it may have its roots in the early 'high crosses' of Celtic Ireland. (Cross is 1.75 inches long)

A traditional 3rd order crucifix. 20th century - hand cast from a vintage piece in sterling silver and solid bronze then antiqued to restore original patina.
(2.25 in. including bale)

HIM CRUCIFIED - JNC.2450
Crucifix dating back to the 1700s from Russia. Worn with love.

The beaded necklace is a random collection of iridescent seeds, hexes, small brass trades and sterling faceted beads which fall into a single, delicate but sturdy strand.* Its coloration of moss, indigo, amethyst, burgundy and dk blue gives it a naturally aged patina of many years.
* (strung on 49 strands of supple, plyed stainless steel wire.)

 The varying bead lengths, textures and colors give a powerful background to the pendant, which is worn by men and women, young and old alike. (Our grandson and his dad, a very tall and athletic man each have one in the choker version and wear it all the time).   The sturdy but delicate clasp is cast from a hand made piece.

CROSS of the APOSTOLATE

DOVE
... that appears above the Cross of the Apostolate symbolizes the Holy Spirit, personal love of God.
 LARGE CROSS
 ... is the symbol of our human condition that Christ wished to make His in order to free us  from misery, pain and death, the consequences of sin.
 HEART
  ... at the center of the cross, surrounded by flames, wounded by the lance, crowned with thorns and shedding blood and water from the wound, symbolizes the love of Christ for his Father and us.
 SMALL CROSS
 ... expresses the personal and most intimate pain of Jesus: His sorrow as Son at not seeing  His Father's love reciprocated, His sorrow at the suffering of man that, due to sin, does not live in love, His sorrow for the unfaithfulness of those most intimately associated with His work of salvation.

The necklace is sized just right and looks just wonderful!   Your workmanship is just so amazing!  I love the clasp! And the Holy Spirit Cross is beautiful! My husband commented on it which amazed me because he is usually at that stage where he rarely notices what I am wearing. But out to dinner he said, "that is the most beautiful  necklace you have on!
