NOTE: We asked Venders at International Gem and Mineral Show in Tucson why such a sudden burst of old beads was coming out of Germany and Austria - they said the old bead makers are dying off. Family members, in the process of settling estates are selling off these private (museum quality) bead collections to US markets. Family members are going into more hi-tech fields so the old beads will soon be gone - never to return. PROTECTING

CLOUD of GLORY V - LEA.21150 translucent white / blue crystal -(1940s-50s) A lovely old hand pressed bead that appears to be a puffy little cloud. We have used blue facets to symbolize the sky, along with the faceted blue Pater, which is Swarovski Crystal (Austria). A very popular rosary at an even better price than the last one! MILK and WINE V - LEA.21152 milky / wine - (1950s) - variegated milky wine colored beads, hand made from German glass bead makers. Reminding us of Mary's milk which nourished Jesus who now nourishing us in Eucharist. Vintage beads. Pater beads are irregular shaped Peruvian Opals capped with antiqed filigrees. THE NEW COVENANT II - LEA.2654 cranberry - an exceptional find, this bead ranks among one of the finest we have ever had in this limited antique edition. Gold is used to gain this color. Very old.
