Rosaries from the Rosary Workshop collection: This is a very gentle rosary, soft colors and a pleasure to hold. Ave beads are shaped like natural pebbles found on the beach appear to be Jasper but are actually a fine, matte, glass 'picasso' bead (CZ) that have been fire-treated with grains of metals to create earthy colors on their surface. + We could not believe they were not stones when we first saw them and had to pick them up to make sure. What we discovered was an incredibly tactile bead in the hand, truly worthy of prayer. Their oval shape and somewhat flattened thickness adds to this natural appearance and gives invitation to prayer. + SYMBOLS OF SEA AND EARTH KEPT SIMPLE FOR THE HEART TO HOLD. AN ETCHED CRUCIFIX AND A HOLY SPIRIT CENTER ENTERTAIN OUR PRAYER. MOSSY GREEN AND LT BLUE RONDELLES FRAME THE PATER BEAD TO BRING IN THE SUN AS IT SPARKLES ON THE SEA . + AND SYMBOLS OF HIS WALK We saw this rosary as becoming a pathway of Jesus' life here on earth, which of course, is the prayer way of the rosary. His time near the sea of Galilee, along the waters of the Jordan bring to mind how important water is in symbolism. And the many miles he walked going from one end of the Holy Land to the other remind us why they call that land, Holy. Sea and Earth, they belong to him - and it is very good! ROSARY
