SEA AND EARTH VI
LEC: LIMITED EDITION CONTEMPO
"Then God said, ‘Let the water under the sky be gathered into a single basin, so that the dry land may appear.' And so it happened:

EARTHY AVES
 DROPLETSOF SEAAND SUN
We could not believe they were not stones when we first saw them and had to pick them up to make sure. What we discovered was an incredibly tactile bead in the hand, truly worthy of prayer. They are seeds from the Bodhi tree, ancient prayer counters, made by God for all his children. Their  naturalness gives invitation to prayer.

GENESIS 10:9-10

"Then God said, ‘Let the water under the sky be gathered into a single basin, so that the dry land may appear.' And so it happened: the water under the sky was gathered into its basin, and the dry land appeared. God called the dry land ‘the earth' and the basin of the water he called ‘the sea'.
God saw how good it was."

JOHN 14:26-28
J "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

AND SYMBOLS OF HIS WALK
We saw this rosary as becoming a pathway of Jesus' life here on earth, which of course, is the prayer way of the rosary. His time near the sea of Galilee, along the waters of the Jordan bring to mind how important water is in symbolism. And the many miles he walked going from one end of the Holy Land to the other remind us why they call that land, Holy.  Sea and Earth, they belong to him - and it is very good!

AVE BEADS: Natural dark brown wood. Visually textured and lovely to pray. More of a matte finish, less gloss than image shows.  (Creamy lines are much less obvious when held under natural light.)  PATER BEADS:  A gracious color of faceted aqua stones framed in antiqued filigrees. They  appear like  flashing lights dancing in the sun on the surface of the sea..  More beautiful in the hand.
