SACRED SEED
A ROSARY DEDICATED TO VICTIMS OF ABUSE
Wednesday night, the rosary below was given
in a dream. It was to be dedicated to the victims of sexual and verbal
abuse. Then on Thursday, we received another order for the 'pray
for our priests rosary', Garment of Aaron. What was different about
this order? It was from a man who had been abused by a priest.
What a wonderful healing process. What a blessing! He suggested we
do a rosary for victims. Confirming? Oh yes! Read about
Sacred Seed to understand the power of this gift from the Lord. In
a way, we are all victims of abuse and must learn to forgive.

We must also pray for all who are condemning the
Catholic Church - the media, lawyers, all with their lack of information.
We must forgive them and ask forgiveness for any lack of response our church
has committed. And as Christians we must learn how to defend our
faith. Ask the Lord for wisdom and knowledge, he loves giving out
his gifts!
~ ROSARY ~
THIS ROSARY IS AN ICON
AN IMAGE WRITTEN IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD
THINK OF IT. THE ROSARY IS A COLLECTION OF SCRIPTURAL PRAYERS
-
SO THIS MAKES THE ROSARY GOD'S INSPIRED WORD.
EACH AVE BEAD IS CALLED A 'WINDOW' BEAD AND THE
DESIGN IS FROM AN OLD GLASS BEAD MOLD. EACH COLOR
REPRESENTS ONE OF THE GEMS ON THE EPHOD.
For I know that this will result in deliverance
for me through your
prayers and support from the Spirit of Jesus Christ.'
Philip.
1:19 (NAB)
THE PATERS ARE MATTE BLACK ANTIQUE BEADS FROM
GERMANY (GABLONZ) - DATED 40s - 50s. THE CROSS IS
CALLED 'CHRIST THE HIGH PRIEST' AND THE CENTER HAS
TWO ANGELS, SURROUNDING THE EUCHARIST. BOTH
CAST IN STERLING AND SOLID BRONZE FROM ANTIQUE
PIECES (1920s).

~ ABOUT the CROSS ~
For unity we have used the same cross on this rosary
as the Garment of Aaron which is the rosary dedicated to the Priests. Bishops,
our Holy Father and for Vocations to the Priesthood.
~ BEAD SYMBOLISM ~
This rosary, SACRED SEED is very similar to GARMENT OF AARON, our rosary dedicated to our Priests, Bishops, the Holy Father and for new vocations. The design simply reverses the Ave beads with the Pater beads:
FOR THE HEALING OF VICTIMS: AVE BEADS
- represent the victims in their diverse and unique individuality.
There are 12 colors which embrace the birth months of each/all person(s)
and also symbolize the 12 gemstones [ Tribes of Israel
] from the breastplate of Aaron. (These beads, pressed
from old glass bead molds have ends of gold to remind us of the Lord saying
the stones of the breastplate are to be set in gold filigree.
+
FOR THE HEALING OF THE PRIESTS: PATER
BEADS - Black [ Onyx ]
was one of the stones used in the breastplate.
+
7 SACRAMENTS: 6 PATER BEADS +
1 ROSARY CENTER - 6 Pater beads surround the central theme of
the Eucharistic Rosary Center and symbolize the 7 sacraments, echoing the
Priests Rosary, Garment of Aaron. Given by Fr Joe for the Priest's rosary.

~ ABOUT SACRED SEED ~
As we learn more about our remarkable gift, the gift of life, we begin to understand more and more about why we have been given our beautiful church. MB has really put his thoughts together for a wonderful answer to the mystery, 'Who am I?' and 'What is God's plan for my life? The world gives us one message which does not give us a sense of this precious gift of life .. so we search for Truth and in Truth we are all healed. Once we understand we are born to be Children of God, the mystery unfolds and protects us from shame, guilt and He shares:
... Jesus came to tell us ...
"It just occurred to me to tell you this. In many respects we
[ particularly we Catholics and many Christian fundamentalist sects ] ..
forget that Jesus .. the Christ came to tell us who "we"
are ... as well as who "he" is. For me
this universal aspect, this truly ecumenical aspect, of his love
for each of us .. no matter how wounded .. broken or lost ... how grand,
gifted, or pious; is the foundation of my faith in Him. Yes! Wondrous
and awesome his work in each of us."
+
... He speaks of the Sacred Seed within ...
So many talk about getting saved ... for me it has always been
more a question of opening up, looking within, discovering, and then
releasing the sacred seed that's been planted in each
of us .. sort of a work from the inside out.
+
... If I could tell my brothers and sisters one thing
...
There is no need to go anywhere for enlightenment ... true enlightenment
never being a matter of external acquisition .. but rather one of apprehension,
of illumination, of recognition and realization; of what Jesus was trying
to tell us about our lineage so many years ago .. If I could shout one
thing from the roof tops and reach all my brothers and sisters .. I would
tell them that they are loved, with a love that has no equal and are therefore
precious in the eyes of God. We're all one .. all one in him.
+
... the Sacred Seed ... the Holy Spirit ... the Present
Moment ...
The title works on so many levels ... as does the Holy Spirit.
I have [ also ] often thought of my prayers as seed planted deep in the
womb of the moment ... the moment being holy .. sacred .. a where each
of us lives, breaths and expresses our being. Yet it seems few of us spend
much time awake and aware in this blessed gift of the moment .. Too often
we find ourselves steeped in worry, doubt, confusion, guilt and fear.
We fret about the past, our external circumstances or look to the
future with anxiety, timidity, and sometimes dread. We tend to see
life as something apart from us ... something that is coming at us .. as
something to be careful of.
... 'The seed is the word of God' ...
ROSARY WORKSHOP RESPONSE: 'The seed is the word of God'.
Think about the seed. An artist knows - the seed - or the idea is
given within and that it must be drawn or pulled into visual form through
the proper use of line, space, color and texture. It knows what it is to
be - the artist must 'listen' to the seed. We cannot plant an acorn
and expect it to become a daisy. We cannot make a tree into strawberry.
When we try to create it into something else, we fail miserably. The artists
job is to nurture the idea - the seed - so it can be what it was created
to be. If elements are chosen well, the message of the art is clear. The
same is true with music.
+
We are similar. We are given life from above, God creates
us - designs us - calls us into being. Our parents give birth to
us. But confusion comes when others try to form us into other than
what/who God meant us to be. Parents, the world, others who invade
our lives and abuse us, create a false sense of who we are. When we allow
it to happen, or when it happens to us without our consent we become confused.
But somewhere deep inside each of us there is that seed, a sacred seed
and in this seed - we know - there is a plan for our lives given from above.
How do we find it? Like the artist, we listen. Truly discovering
the Holy Spirit in our lives. Regardless of what has happened to
us - we are strengthened in our destiny - we begin to become who we are,
who God made us to be . Then we can become missionaries of the Lord
because others reconginze this Truth in us and begin their search for Truth
- Christ - in themselves. We become a work of art - a song in the heart
of God!
+
... The rosary .. it is a blessed and sacred gift
...
Through praying the Rosary; I have found that true healing
resides in the moment . .and in the "living" of my life in its embrace.
It is a blessed gift . .it's sacred; and it is where I have come to discover
myself, and the greatest prayer of all.." Thank You Father for my place
in Creation" and for your most merciful gift of redemption and "Eternal
Life with Thee".. Blessed BE! MB
+
It is hard for us to even begin to understand what
a wonderful plan God has for us unless we begin to trust him. Regardless
of our plan, as great as it seems to be, our agenda is nothing compared
to what the Lord has in store for each of us. RW
~ HOW IT CAME TO BE ~
In the midst of the summer 2002 conference in Dallas
of the Catholic Bishops [NCCCB] to decide on the tolerance for priests
who have sexually abused children and youth, this rosary was given in a
dream wednesday night. It was generated, the seed was planted by
the witnessing of victims of abuse during the televised [EWTN] conference.
On thursday, the Rosary Workshop received this followup email from a man
who had just ordered our priests rosary, Garment of Aaron:
+
MB - "I just came across your wonderful
internet site. It is beautiful! I just ordered a rosary. I have always
been devoted to our blessed mother. I have ordered the new rosary, [ Garment
of Aaron ] to pray for our priests. I thought you might want to know that
I am just one of the many molested by a priest as a young boy. And as many
of the others; I have suffered great heart ache and shame over the years.
God has seen fit to give me some comfort and the grace to forgive. Although
it is disturbing to see this evil so pervasive in the church and to watch
the totally inadequate response to date of our church leaders. It is my
belief that just as Christ swept the temple clean of the money lenders
.. he will purge the church of this blight and this institutional arrogance.
My prayers will be for all of our priests .. the good and the bad and for
the healing that is so desperately needed in these troubled times.
+
Thank you for such a wonderful work. May our Lord continue to
draw you near him through service to others and may you continue to create
beautiful things for all of us to enjoy and treasure." MB (USA)
ROSARYWORKSHOP - Thank you for your very touching
and beautiful letter. Because of its forgiving content and prayer for the
good and bad priests, we ask you if we may use it on our site with hopes
it will help other to see the power and value of the healing process that
comes from forgiveness. Gods' blessings for your new ministry!
+
MB - "Somehow being able to forget is more
difficult for me than the forgiving. A rosary for those so long neglected
and forgotten .. that suffered at the hands of our priests and and betrayed
by their superiors.. might be appropriate .. maybe as appropriate as the
one I just purchased for the healing of our priests."

the Sacred Seed above
~ PRAYER ~
Pray the rosary as you normally would, remembering the Ave Beads symbolize the vicitms of abuse and the Pater beads remind us to pray for the priests, bishops and the Holy Father.
... Woe to those who despise priests ...
“Woe to those who despise priests. Even if they fall into
sin, no one should pass judgment on them, for God has reserved judgment
on them to Himself. They are in a privileged position because they
have the charge of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, which they
receive and which they alone administer to others, and so anyone who sins
against them commits a greater crime than if he sinned against anyone else
in the whole world.”
St Francis of Assisi - (shared by Sister Anna
Marie)
