ROSARIES - AMERICAN BEAD ARTISTS I
ROSARY BEADS DEDICATED TO THE WATERS of the HOLY LAND
When ice is
melted it becomes water. When glass is heated it becomes liquid -
so then the link between the glassmakers and the water of the bible below.
With the new interest in glass beadmaking, the Rosary Workshop decided
a few years ago to honor the beadmakers by using their work in our rosaries.
Our first ones sold out so quickly we knew others saw their beauty, too

SEA of GALILEE - RIVER JORDAN - SEA of SALT
Any of the major Bead shows from Tucson to Milwaukee, from New York to Los Angeles will reveal how beads are formed from rods of glass cane and fire in gifted hands to become miniature works of art. Artists like Basha, and Karen Lewis (Klew Beads) became favorites. See what you think of our newest collections as they grow. Below we have incorperated some of the work of these beadmakers into our rosaries, chaplets and religious jewelry. We hope you enjoy.
This series gave way to the Waters of the Holy Land
because they appeared to tell a story and reminded us of the time Jesus
spent in Capharnum and along the rocky shores of the Jordan, the Dead Sea
and the Sea of Galilee, (also known in scripture as the Sea of Genesareth
or Sea of Tiberius.) Lampwork

sea of endurance AZURE SEA - RAA.2811 rose / blue / jet -An azure sea is interrupted by fishing nets full of rosy sunsets and blue sky. Each Pater bead is hand made, no two alike. Ave's are faceted gem cuts in light rose, picking up the colors of the pillow shaped Pater beads. No two alike, each a work of art! |

sea of 'Peter's Fish' SANDY SEA - RAA.2812 sand / blue / jet - swirls of sandy tones are punctuated with tiny bits of blue, all caught in a jet background. Ave beads are faceted 'gemstones' in a black 'picasso' (includes irregular flecks of grey). They remind one of the lava beaches found in Pacific islands, all water is connected. Yet the Galilee is in the center of the world. (And yes, there is a fish called 'Peter's Fish! in the Sea of Galilee) |

sea of Faith and Trust
POUNDING SEA - RAA.2813 earth / sea blues / jet - swirls of sandy topaz appear to pick up the blue sea in waves of a storm. Blue grey remind one of the stormy sky. This very beautiful, hand made Pater bead is complimented by the jet or lava 'Picasso' bead used for Ave's. The faceted surface adds a watery finish. |
JOHN 6:25-27
