It is hard to grasp the size of St. Peter's in Rome because of its perfect overall balance and proportion. We sometimes smile realizing that this, the largest basilica in the world, was indeed built right on top of Peter's bones bringing more light to the words + 'Upon this rock I will build my church!' + Truly this basilica - is a magnificent body of work housing many masterpieces, holy relics and treasures - but most precious - as with every Catholic Church - is the presence of the Lord himself in Holy Eucharist. + This Rosary is made of 8mm crystal/topaz beads pressed from the design of old Czech molds. Very fine quality and beautifully faceted. Swarovski crystal Paters in moss green are capped with antiqued filigrees. Our third edition of this series - and the most beautiful of all! A closer view of the beautifully faceted Ave beads with topaz granite ends. Bead design is from an old, vintage glass bead mold that originally formed these beads from molten glass, one bead at a time. Crucifix is hand cast from an antique ornate Italian filigree found on an old Rosary still attached to its beads. |
