This color brings joy to our hearts in Christ - as we are reminded of Jesus and his mother, Mary, 'flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone' so we have dedicated this one to Mary's title, Cause of Our Joy, from the litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Made of rare and unable to replace rose bud beads from Czechoslovakia. These rosebuds were individually hand pressed in glass bead molds over 50 years ago. A treasured find. THE '3 WINDOW' PATERS ARE CAST
The Paters are called 'tri-beads' or '3 window beads' as they have 3 windows allowing us to see inside. This bead is crystal with lt rose inclusions. Each window reveals its inner beauty. It is made from antique glass cane, recently formed into beads in an antique glass mold. The textured matte surface of the bead sets up the flash of light that comes from within. The spacer beads are faceted crystal. Very limited. Unable to replace when gone. |
