She became the 'New Ark' of the New Covenant when the angel visited her and called her "Full of Grace' but was first recognized in writing by Athanasius of Alexandria (C. 295 - 373 AD), see 'HISTORY' link above.

A BEAUTIFUL COMBINATION WITH
THE PATERS OF FACETED LIGHT ROSE CZECH BEADS.

The antique rosebud beads on this rosary are a very very pale blue. Hardly noticeable, but is translucent with inclusions of blue. One of the titles of Mary in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the 'Ark of the Covenant.' She carried the Lord as did the ark in the days of Moses.
