Like pink roses growing out of a terracotta earth. It is said that when Juan Diego went on top of the barren hill of Tepeyac, he saw a great variety of Castilian Roses in the cold, frosty morning dew which had fallen during the night. There was a wonderful fragrance surrounding him and the drops of dew looked like pearls. Where the Lady herself was caused the earth to shine like a rainbow. + 8mm BEADS EACH WITH 2 PINK ROSES - TOTALLY HAND MADE USING THE LAMPWORK TECHNIQUE. IMAGE ABOVE, TRUE TO COLOR. + THE BARREN HILL OF TEPEYAC “The Mezquite bushes, prickly pears and other little herbs and grasses that usually grow there looked like emeralds. The foliage like fine turquoise, and the branches and thorns glittered like gold” (from the Nican Mophua, translated from Nahuatl the language of the Aztecs. Again, it is written that everything near her 'Glittered like gold'. + The 'A' 'M' Ave Maria center and rose cross compliment the rosary overall. Thérèse of Lisieux is in the center of the cross holding the crucifix for you, like an intercessor. (Paters are faceted Swarovski crystal) + CHAPLETS: THE TRADITIONAL 'ALL IN ONE LOOP' IS EASIER TO PRAY AND KINDER TO THE HANDS. |
