 THE WORLD MISSION ROSARY
Archbishop Fulton J Sheen still shares his love for the Lord through EWTN - TV.  His World Mission Rosary - A prayer for for unity and world peace, was introduced over 50 years ago.  It was a wonderful gathering of 5 colors - 5 decades - each representing a continent in the world missions.  His mission rosaries were available for a simple $2 donation - how times have changed!  We honor this devotion by using 5 colors of beautiful, faceted 8mm Czech beadswith an ab finish.

BISHOP SHEEN'S SYMBOLISM OF THE 5 DECADE COLORS
 ~BLUE (sapphire) - Australia/Oceana - the countries/islands in the blue Pacific.     ~GREEN (emerald) - Africa - with its green forests and jungles. (also a sacred color for the Muslem).     ~WHITE (crystal) - Europe -  spiritual capital of early Christianity - Rome.     ~YELLOW (topaz) - Asia/Middle East/Orient - where the sun comes up and civilization traditionally began.     ~RED (ruby) - The Americas/Latin America/USA/Canada - for Early Native Americans.

A WONDERFUL ROSARY DEDICATED TO WORLD PEACE - FROM BISHOP

FULTON SHEEN IN 1951. MANY ARE RENEWING THIS DEVOTION.

Since 9/11 we have have had so many requests for - and have filled orders (sight unseen) for - this particular rosary.  We realized it should be available on our site.  If there was ever a need for world unity and Peace, it is now.   And as Bishop Sheen said, 'When you pray this rosary, you pray for all the missions that are in all the continents of the world".
