The Ave beads are actually a faceted clear crystal. The ends of each bead are a deep, rich golden topaz, but unless the light shines through them as when they are held and prayed, it does not show. Here, the light is blocked. + The Pater beads are hand faceted Tourmaline nuggets. Each nugget is capped with antiqued filigrees. Tourmaline is such a beautiful gathering of colors, mainly moss, rose - some of which show in the image (There are no clear white areas on them, this is the flash back of the camera on a facetd area.)
