Chaplet made up of 7 sets of 3 beads, this rosary is a universal prayer
for world peace, knowing no denomination or specific prayer sequence. It
may be prayed as a novena or as a chaplet prayer. It grows from one's
own peaceful heart into marriage, family, community, nation, the whole
family of man and the church.

Its purpose is to bring peace and unity to all members
of the family of God. All are remembered in the body of Christ -
those who have died, those who are alive and those who yet are to be born.

TO THE VICTIMS OF KATRINA
Katrina means 'pure'. The weekend of
the hurricane was to be a celebration called 'DECADENCE WEEKEND'
It was also the feast day of John the Baptist. There is much to ponder
between the beautiful people of New Orleans who love the Lord and have
been great Prayer Warriors - to the practice of Voodoo and all its evil
friends in New Orleans. Was it prayer that caused the breeze from
the Mid West to redirect the storm from a catagory 5 to a 4?

OUR LADY OF PROMPT SUCCOR
Read about how Our Lady of Prompt Succor
(patroness of Louisiana) has taken care of the the people of New Orleans
in the past. We will add more together as collected but turn your prayers
towards her so that the powers from above will hear the prayers of her
children. This chaplet carried the medal of OUR LADY OF PROMPT SUCCOR -
so it carries a rich heritage from two sources now. (see below)

THE WORKERS ROSARY FROM YUGOSLOVAKIA
My Dad's family is from Yugoslavia.
I am a first generation American. My Grandma taught me that the 'Peace
Chaplet' composed of the Creed, and 7 times the Pater, Ave and Gloria is
the 'Worker's Rosary' that the blessed Mother will never refuse to hear
- if prayed from the heart. 7 is the number of perfection in
the Bible which makes the Peace Chaplet a perfect shorter prayer. So the
Peace Chaplet is a local Croatian traditional prayer that is at least 100
years old...
