Originally these medals of a child of God curled up in His hand were purchased to make chaplets for the Pre-born. Then, while in Germany, our 12 year old grand daughter Natalie was injured (in the very place these medals were made!). It brought to mind that as parents and grand parents, we are to pray for our families daily. + Each crystal bead reflects the light in a special way depending on how the light searches out its inner beauty. Children love to watch the changing designs! A PERFECT LITTLE CHAPLET FOR GRAND MOM AND DADS TO PRAY FOR A CHILD WHO NEEDS SPECIAL LOVE AND PRAYERS. ... When one of our loved ones - especially a young one - is hurt, is ill or has a painful disease - our hearts are torn for them. So we dedicate this chaplet - not only to the pre-born, (for a safe delivery and for those who are threatened by abortion) - but to our children and grandchildren who are living today. We also encourage you to pray for those who are with the Lord and abide in the palm of His hand.... |

Please use this chaplet to pray for the pre-born. Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have against abortion, the killing of the preborn at any stage of life. Also for those who did not make it full term. Be sure and name them and call them by name in your heart as you pray for them. |

When we were at the Monastery of Maria Laach, (Germany), granddaughter Natalie (12) took a spill and literally scraped the flesh off of her shin, exposing the bone. Because of the nature of the wound, Brother Anthony (in blue below), Nurse at the Monastery, confirmed Natalie would need to go to the Krankenhaus! She knew what this meant - she was so brave! (We tried to be!) |

The Krankenhaus is the hospital! As they were getting the preliminary work done on her, her brother James and I ran into the gift shop on the grounds of Maria Laach to pick up this wonderful medal we had seen earlier (The same one I had purchased for the Rosary Workshop before our trip, see pocket medal below). + It was perfect for her to hold while she was waiting for the ambulance to arrive. The men in orange had 'RETTUNGSDIENST' written on their backs and the kids knew it meant 'emergency service' as they both spoke German! Natalie was battered and brusied on her face, ribs and hips along with the repairs done on her leg - but the rest of our trip, it was obvious that she was indeed still being carried in the palm of the hand of God, soreness, stitches and all! She never complained. (PS - she chose the blue one!) |

Two wonderful reminders of God's love for you! Pocket medal does not have a hole in it as it is meant to be put in your your pocket, to hold as a reminder! It will come in the little box to the right. On the other side it says, " Yes I will carry you - even in old age. And you shall proclaim that I am merciful .(Jochen Klepper)." there is another message inside: "God protects you from danger. YOu need not be afraid. His angels guard you wherever you go. Our friend Paula suggested that it would be a wonderful little chaplet for children to pray along with the family rosary. These tough chaplets are perfect for little hands as they are made up of 10mm beads. And 10 beads are just about all most little ones can handle without getting losing interest. We found out that when they would ask for prayers for themselves or friends, they became much more interested. We kept a list in front of us while we prayed and checked them off as they were answered so they could see the power of their prayer! |

These wonderful (10mm) beads make a 10 bead chaplet in three colors. I made on for Natalie so she could say her special prayers in thanksgiving to God for holding her in his hands. The tri cut beads are from antique glass cane and formed in old glass bead molds. They are crystal with inclusions of either rose, light blue or cream and have a matted surface texture. The light searches out its inner beauty differently each time it moves! |
