REDEEMER OF MAN
These 33 bead chaplets (one bead for each traditional year of Christ's' earthly life) is promoted by the Sacred Heart Society (1980) according to A Handbook of Catholic Sacramentals by Ann Ball (pg. 177).It is in response to JPIIs request in his 1979 encyclical, REDEEMER OF MAN - in preparation of the coming of the new millennium.

He called for a reawakening in each of us of Jesus' love and for the truth of faith as expressed in the Gospel

33 10 mm Golden hued wooden beads with a beautiful textured surface. The Chinese call these beads, "MOON AND STAR BEADS' as each one has many stars and a moon! Warm to the touch, a pleasure to pray!

33 - 10 mm Exquisite faceted bicone amethyst beads that are pressed in antique glass bead molds. The purple symbolizes royalty and the passion of Christ. The ribbed bicone edges of this bead act as a faceted surface creating a beautiful play of unexpected light.

33 - 10 mm Antique matte montana blue beads - hold up to the light to see the depth of color - magnificent! Each bead is separated by tiny (4 mm) faceted purple beads to give an unexpected flash of light. Very rare, very limited, very beautiful. Unable to replace when gone.
