Saint Jude Thaddaeus is thought to be one of the twelve apostles by many scholars. He is recognized in the Epistle of Jude as the brother of James and possibly a relative of Jesus. He traveled to Mesopotamia then caught up with Saint Simon in Persia. Chrysocolla (Chrysacola) is a gemstone found near deposits of copper. In the US, Michigan, Arizona, New Mexico, also Zaire. Its color is similar to Turquoise or Malachite. Ours have been hand faceted and stabilized for strength. In some cultures it is believed to be a healing stone. Faceted Rhyolite is a beautiful gift from Gods treasury. It is a semi precious stone formed by volcanic action - rare. Mainly a mossy green flecked with bits of color. Here we have made the traditional 9 bead chaplet, un looped and ready to pray. |
