Purchased in 1999 in Southern Bavaria near the site of the Passion Play, this antique filigree rosary or 'Rosenkranz' is not all that far from it origin. Eucharistic medallion very popular in 1700 - 1800s as was the 6 decade rosary. (see below) + A great find, this rosary along with several others of similar design and quality were in the window of an Antique shop on a side street in Ober Ammergau.
