God speaks them into existence with his mouth and Man refines them into another stage of their potential by mining, cutting and polishing them by hand. We string them into what you see here. The command of the LORD is clear, enlightening the eye. + IS LAVA - GLASS? Obsidian (Lava) is a type of glass (high silica content) that is formed through volcanic action. We see Obsidian or lava flowing out of volcanos in its red hot liquid form.  When it cools quickly, it cannot form crystals. It is so tough it is used for cutting edges and counter tops.  + PSALM 19 10-15   10 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The statutes of the LORD are true, all of them just; 11 More desirable than gold, than a hoard of purest gold, ...  15  Let the words of my mouth meet with your favor, keep the thoughts of my heart before you, LORD, my rock and my redeemer. + WHAT IS JASPER? Jasper comes in many colors and carries a variety of names ( 17+ ) such as Flower Jasper, Poppy Jasper, Leopard Jasper, Landscape Jasper and Picture Jasper. The latter two are prized for natural formations that often appear to be scenes or images. Jasper is a type of opaque Chalcedony and has been used since ancient times.
