When I was a child, my dad served in submarines during WWII. He was gone for 5 years and today, his submarine career is written about in books. I didn't know him and when he finally came home, I saw him. He asked me where the Blairs lived - I pointed him to the house. I read the name Blair on his duffle bag and realized he was my dad. What do I remember about him the most? He would kneel down by his bed every night and pray. He retired as an Admiral in the US Navy and never did he forget his prayers in gratitude for God's mercy in his life.
