Very limited antique (1800 - 1900) bronze disks formed by the 'Lost Wax' technique.
A great mix with 'gem cut' faceted mossy green glass with coral inclusions. Ends are a
wonderful matte granite finish which walks right into the bronze!

~ WHAT HAPPENS? ~

 ... when beads are made into rosaries - something happens ...
When a new order of beads come in, we  are all very excited to see what they look like.  They are so much more beautiful here than they were in Tucson on the tables where they are heaped up into great piles, each kind fighting for your attention.  But when they become rosaries, something even more wonderful happens.

Its something like a ship when it is first built. First it is a pile of material then it becomes an inert hull - it looks like a ship. But when the ship is Christened, it traditionally becomes 'alive' - as her crew goes on board and stands 'at rest' - this is when she gains her 'soul'.

Well, beads seem to have a similar experience.  They are wonderful to look at  but when they are made into rosaries, the beads change - they just come alive - as if they are now becoming what they were made to be.  Then, when they are blessed and given back to the Lord they take on a new auroa of life and become a 'sacramental'.  But when they are prayed, that is when they - the beads - become most beautiful as they are now fulfilling their destiny!  We often marvel over how the elements that make the beads and the rocks that are mined and cut by man, originally were spoken into being by God himself.   It is only right to see them become instruments of praise and prayer.
