Rosary Workshop - Guild Information
TILMA FULL of ROSARIES GUILD
A LITTLE HELP FROM ABOVE
These two honorary guild members look over our worktable.  Some mornings we come to the table and things aren't quite the way we left them and we wonder - if possible (and we know it is possible), just possibly we have had some heavenly company rearranging a few beads here and there - ideas come together from these new arrangements - and many are now on the site. So we feel free to say. "Thank you dear Mary and Little Flower, we love what you do for us, we love your rosaries!"

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CAME ALL THE WAY FROM TONY BAUER IN

OVER OUR WORKTABLE.  THEY BRING US INSPIRATION AND A FEW VERY WELCOME
SUGGESTIONS TO KEEP US ON TRACK.

WHO WE ARE  -  MISSION  -  PILGRIMAGE

~ WHO WE ARE ~

We are a guild of crafts women who live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the diocese of Marquett..
We  are active members of the Church of the Precious Blood and are all moms and (19 children).  Most of us are grandmoms -  over 36 grandchildren and 1 great grand child!
+
Our gifts are spread out beyond this ministry - in music (choir director), eucharistic ministery, teaching at the Prayer Group or  CCD, working with Pre Marriage and preparing our youth for Confirmation. And we just seem to hang out together.  Most of us have been to Franciscan University at Steubenville - either through chaperoning our youth to the Conferences or simply - attending - and all of us belong to the Fruit of the Spirit Prayer Group. And yes, the husbands are all friends and pray together in the mens group!  God is Good!

We welcome Jeanne T to the guild, and as soon as we can catch her,
will put her picture in the gallery!

CAROL M (designer, books)
VP of beads - she keeps the group from
getting too serious - when she laughs beads fly all over the place. Carol chairs the Life in the Spirit Seminars and the annual Church Bazaar. She and her husband are both EMs and - a great cook! She has 4 grandbabies And 1 great grand baby!
MARGOT B (designer, owner)

Its that Carol M again! Another grandson/granddaughter story!  Margot has been a Liturgical Artist for over 35 years designing religious cards, appointments, vestments for various churches and groups througout the US. She is also a published author/illustrator of 5 books. 13 grandbabies, too!
CAROL L (sale rosaries)

VP Music - Carol is choir director (Sat evening Mass) and keeps us in tune at the work table. Since her husbands death, she sings with the Sweet Adelines Internatonal  and loves to sew for her 6 grandkids! Se takes care of sale rosaries and payroll.
SUE L (parts, bible study)

VP of spreadsheets - and stuff like that. Sue and her husband are very active at our church.  He is one of our ushers at Mass,  and she is an EM, teaches HSCCD and oversees the bible study program for us along with parts orders.  3 grandchildren, includes twins!
JEANNE T

HONORARY GUILD MEMEBERS

PAT D

Pat is VP of silly jokes -  She and her husband are right hand helpers to Fr Mathew.  Pat  does the Communion services when Sister is  gone,  fills in as Lector and  at the parish office when needed. They are now loyal Florida snowbirds!
CLARA C
VP of crimping pliers - herbs, accupuncture, and all kinds of health things. She and her husband are both EMs. They chaperone the youth to Steubenville  as attending doctors as both are surgeons.  They have 2 children and now practice in NH

When you buy one of Guild’s Rosaries you will know who made it as there will be a signature on either a tag or on your invoice sheet. Your name will go into our prayer box and you will be with us in name, spirit and prayer. We would love to be remembered in yours, too.

WE GIVE THANKS!
In  2000, the year of God's favor,  the guild did a pilgrimage to the cathedral of our Diocese in Marquette MI, where we spent the day with many other pilgrims from the UP of Michigan.  First, we met with the Bishop, then with a dear friend and fellow Michigan resident, 'Butch' Jim Murphy.  Jim led us in a mini retreat, sharing with us how the Lord worked through his people on his pilgrimage walk across the UP 10 years ago. (This would be a simple trek compared to his next walk requested by several of our US Bishops.  The pilgrimage walk from Florida to California (93-94) was one of forgiveness and unity.)  We shared Eucharist, then sat down to wonderful dinner before returning home on our pilgrim bus. And our hearts GIVE THANKS as the sign behind us shares, to you for your encouragement and support over the last 5 years.

~ MISSION STATEMENT ~

OUR VISION IS TO ...
... provide the finest handmade rosaries, chaplets and other fine religious art forms for personal worship we can make for the glory of our Lord. There are millions of plastic Rosaries out there and beautiful prayers are said on them with just as much heart, but our vision is to design and craft the finest work we can for you with the materials at hand. The Guild believes fine art and craft gives visual Glory to God, therefore for us, the best for you is very, very important as He deserves our best.
