~ PRAYER ~

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle
 Be our protection against the wickedness
and snares of the devil;
May God rebuke him, we  humbly pray,
 and thou, O Prince of heavenly host,
 by the power of God,
 Thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
 Amen

~ ORIGIN ~

OCTOBER 13 1884 - POPE LEO XIII
 Pope Leo XIII was  just finishing Mass.  As he turned to walk away from the Tabernacle, he collapsed. Those present were afraid for his life, thinking he was dead. When he came to, he shared what he had experienced in a vision.  (This event precursed by 33 years - to the day - the sun dancing in the heavens at Fatima.)

THE VISION
 He heard noise in front of the Tabernacle . It was a confrontation between Jesus and Satan. Satan told Jesus if given time and enough power, he would destroy the Church. Jesus asked in return, 'How much time and how much power?' Satan's reply was one century and more influence over those who would follow him.  The Holy Father said he heard Jesus say "So be it."  And the 20th century was given to Satan as a time of testing. The Holy Father was so shaken he began to combat this vision with many things. 3 of which follow:

           2. The form of prayer We refer to has obtained the special name of "Rosary," as though it represented by its arrangement the sweetness of roses and the charm of a garland. This is most  fitting for a method of venerating the Virgin, who is rightly styled the Mystical Rose of Paradise, and who, as Queen of the universe, shines therein with a crown of stars. So that by its very name it  appears to foreshadow and be an augury of the joys and garlands of Heaven offered by her to those who are devoted to her. PRAYER FOR THE CHURCH AND FOR SOULS
(Recommended for frequent recitation in the present critical times)

"O glorious Prince of the heavenly host, St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle and in the fearful warfare we are waging against the principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the evil spirits. Come to the assistance of men, whom Almighty God created immortal, making them in  His own image and likeness and redeeming them at a great price from the tyranny of Satan.

Fight this day the battle of the Lord with your legions of holy angels, even as of old you fought against his rebel angels, who were powerless to stand against you. Neither was their place found any more in heaven. And that apostate angel, transformed into an angel of darkness who still creeps about the earth to encompass our ruin, was cast headlong in to the abyss together with his followers.

But behold, that first enemy of mankind, and a murderer from the beginning, has regained his confidence. Changing himself into an angel of light, he goes about with the whole multitude of wicked spirits to invade the earth and blot out the name of God and of His Christ, to plunder, to slay and to consign to eternal damnation the souls that have been destined for a crown of everlasting life.

Wisdom 3:1-9

     1  But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them.
     2  They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction
     3  and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace.
     4  For if before men, indeed, they be punished, yet is their hope full of immortality;
     5  Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself.
     6   As gold in the furnace, he proved them, and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself.
     7   In the time of their visitation they shall shine, and shall dart about as sparks through stubble;
     8  They shall judge nations and rule over peoples, and the LORD shall be their King forever.
     9  Those who trust in him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with him in love: Because grace and mercy are with his holy ones, and his care is with the elect.

O LORD, IN YOUR INFINITE MERCY WE BEG YOU BRING ALL THE VICTIMS THROUGH THE DOORS OF HEAVEN. FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNCLEAR REGARDING THEIR PERSONAL SALVATION - ABOUT THEIR PERSONAL AND CORPORATE SINS  - THAT THEY ARE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO ASK FORGIVENESS AND COME TO YOU.

ALL YOU WHO DIED IN CHRIST IN THE TERRORIST ATTACK ON SEPTEMBER 11TH 2001 - WE ASK YOU TO INTERCEDE FOR US TO THE MOST HIGH GOD THAT PEACE AND JUSTICE WITH MERCY REIGN ON THIS EARTH.  THAT SPIRITUAL INTERVENTION OF THE HIGHEST CALLING AND MERCY BE GIVEN ALONG WITH WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE TO WORLD LEADERSHIP - AND TO EACH OF US WHO CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR YOU, YOUR FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND PEACE IN THE WORLD.

~ ST MICHAEL in SCRIPTURE ~

 DANIEL 10:13,14
"but the prince of the kingdom of Persia stood in my way for twenty-one days, until finally Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me. I left him there with the prince of the kings of Persia, and came to make you understand what shall happen to your people in the days to come; for there is yet a vision concerning those days."    (Gabriel speaking to Daniel when he asks permission for the Jews to return to Jerusalem)

DANIEL 12:1
"At that time there shall arise Michael, the great prince, guardian of your people; It shall be a time unsurpassed in distress since nations began until that time. At that time your people shall escape, everyone who is found written in the book."   (Regarding the end of the world and the Antichrist)

ST JUDE 6-10
The angels too, who did not keep to their own domain but deserted their proper dwelling, he has kept in  eternal chains, in gloom, for the judgment of the great day.  Likewise, Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding towns, which, in the same manner as they, indulged in sexual promiscuity and practiced unnatural vice, 6 serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.   Similarly, these dreamers 7 nevertheless also defile the flesh, scorn lordship, and revile glorious beings. Yet the archangel Michael, when he argued with the devil in a dispute over the body of Moses, did not  venture to pronounce a reviling judgment 8 upon him but said, "May the Lord rebuke you!" But these people revile what they do not understand and are destroyed by what they know by nature like  irrational animals.

  REVELATION 12:1-13
 A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.  She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth.  Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on  its heads were seven diadems.  Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth.  She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught  up to God and his throne.  The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God, that there she might be
          taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days.

Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.   The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.  Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have salvation and power come, and the kingdom of our  God and the authority of his Anointed. For the accuser  of our brothers is cast out, who accuses them  before our God day and night.  They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; love for life did not deter them from death.

 Therefore, rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them. But woe to you, earth and sea, for the Devil  has come down to you in great fury, for he knows he has but a short time."   When the dragon saw that it had been thrown down to the earth, it pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.   But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle,  so that she could fly to her place in the desert,  where, far from the serpent, she was taken care of for a year, two years, and a half-year.

The serpent, however, spewed a torrent of water out of his mouth after the woman to sweep her away with the current.  But the earth helped the woman and opened its mouth and swallowed the flood that the dragon spewed out  of its mouth.  Then the dragon became angry with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring, those who keep God's commandments and bear witness to Jesus.
