We quickly sell every rosary using Klew beads. California bead artist Karen Lewis of "SPIRITED BEADS" or "KLEW EXPRESSIONS" is one of my very very favorite bead designers. She has truly mastered the art of 'New Clay' in her beadmaking and every time I see her work, it is as if each one was created by hands from above. Each bead is truly a work of art, no two alike, never to be repeated ... NEVER

About her work, she shares, 'Most Klew bead [ shape ] categories and cabochons will always be in production although the cane design, colors, and application will vary. At most, only a few dozen of each style are made at a time before the featured canes are used up. There is no way the exact design can be repeated again, like fingerprints and snowflakes - one of a kind. A great find and combination, these rusty poppy jasper Aves work so well with the colors Karen uses in her 'Spirited Beads'. We could not have found another bead that works so well with these handmade Paters that include appliquéd leaves and flowers! + RARE, FRAMED OUR LADY CENTER Again we have used this magnificent old image of Our Lady, framed in a filigree of flowers. Crucifix has been restored and handcast from an old Celtic design. Hand cast in sterling or solid bronze, then antiqued to restore original patina. |

Refreshing sea green aves are a faceted high end Czech glass. These faceted beads are called 'gem cuts' and allow for a shorter rosary. We love these beads as they appear to be droplets of ocean water caught in each bead! Paters appear to be wrapped in fresh leaves. No two hand made beads are exactly alike and every color you see is a different piece of clay, nothing is painted on. Never to be repeated. Am tempted to keep this one for my personal collection! + RARE, ANTIQUE METALS A magnificent old cross carrying Christ on one side and Mary on the other (Renaissance period) Center is of Joseph holding the child Jesus, protected by the 'Gateof Heaven' (Mary). Deep, rich variegated rusty 'Poppy Jasper' Ave's compliment the hand made Paters. No two are exactly alike and every appliquéd leaf is layered to form this 'pod' shaped bead suggesting hidden life. +
Each color you see in the Pater bead is a different piece of clay. No color is painted on. No two alike, never to be repeated. Each Pater bead is framed with antiqued filigree caps. Am tempted to keep this one for my personal collection as sold the first one before I was able to save it! This rosary is a glorious collection of colored Pater beads as no two 'Pods' are the same. The variation is heart warming. +
RARE, ANTIQUE METALS A magnificent old 1800s crucifix from Latin America called a 'Small Childs Crucifix'. Center is of 'Our Lady of the Snows'. Hand cast in sterling or solid bronze, then antiqued to restore original patina. |

Jet black antique Aves set up a perfect background for every color in the design of the Paters - truly amazing! + This series is one of our all time finest examples of the 'Spirited Bead'. These rare Klew beads are pinched into a shape that teases the eye! We have sold several of these in the past and delighted to discover this shape was still available. Each set of 6 may differ from the image above but hard to distinguish the difference. All have the same shape with leaves, exotic flowers and tiny appliqués. Soft lavender Aves are separated with matte tri beads that shoot of rich rainbow colors on all. |

To compliment Karen's beads we have used rare and beautiful faceted jet black (Fine CZ glass). We have never seen beads faceted in this manner, (look closely) They are old, Very Limited, unable to replace when gone. |
