18c 'PSALTER' ROSARY
ROSARY DATED 1720
 A wonderful find from lower Bavaria.  This 15 decade strung rosary or Psalter has a tiny credo cross on the pendant before the beautiful medallion that images the Visitation on one side and a profile of John the Baptist on the other.  Dated 1720 by Antique Dealer.

 The beautifully imaged medallion reads:
'VISITAZIO B.MARIA VIR' and 'S.IOANNES BAPT O.PRO.N.'
