A WONDERFUL FIND
Tough metal rosaries were issued to military personnel during the first world war, the technique being the same as used on lamp pulls. These become collectors items for many people.  There are many versions of this rosary, especially in the use of centers and crucifixes. A wonderful find for anyone who wants a tough rosary for everyday use.

METAL 'PULL CHAIN'
Made of tough metal pull chain, this rosary was made to last. Beads are about 4 mm, well defined, nicely designed crucifix and center.  Today, no metals are used for combat rosaries - as discovered the metal could flash light, giving away position of troops in foxholes. Loaned by a private collector
