The Walter Daniels family has graciously allowed us to share some of their museum collection of rosaries with you. Some have been de-accessioned from museums, a wonderful opportunity for the serious collector of information on antique rosaries and chaplets. This rosary of garnet has a wonderful collection of small medals, some of which are cut outs, others are heartshaped. The credo cross is in 3 pieces, strung together to form a cross. |

EXOTIC WOODS CAPPED IN SILVER
A fine example of a filigree rosary from the 1600's. It was de-accessioned from the DeYoung (San Francisco) and brought into the Daniel's Family Collection. |
