... when beads are made
into rosaries something happens ...
When the new beads come in, we are all very excited to
see what they look like. They are so much more beautiful here than
they were in Tucson on the tables where they are heaped up in great piles.
But when they become rosaries, something even more wonderful happens.

Its something like a ship when it is first built. First it is
a pile of material then it becomes an inert hull.
But when the ship is Christened, it traditionally becomes 'alive'
- as her crew goes on board and stands at rest. Then she gains her
'soul'.

Well, beads seem to have a similar experience. When they
are made into rosaries, the beads change - they just come alive - as if
they are now what they were made to be. Then, when they are blessed
they take on a new auroa of life. But when they are prayed, that
is when they - the beads become most beautiful as they are fulfilling their
